Speaking as someone in the midst of a critical network failure (now into recovery reload) I feel it is my duty as a friend to remind you that backups are your friend - they may take a while to perform (and then if ever needed reload) but damn they'll save your butt.
All that lovely artistic work on your hard drive, all your business stuff, eTax, mp3s, movies, game save files - whatever is closest to your heart... BACK IT UP!!! Stuff on Flickr, deviant art, Vox and your own website... BACK IT UP!!!
Because you never know when someone will turn off the server room air conditioning!

I'm going to do Project 365. I'm not sure if I should give the photos context - I kind of like the idea of just throwing them out there. Really, I can't see that a lot of things that interest me will actually trigger a response in anyone else and telling a story along with the picture doesn't seem in the spirit of things.
Perhaps one liners will be the way to go.

I have no idea what I'll write about this year, I grew to hate last year's idea rather rapidly and then gave up on the whole novel about a fifth of the way in.
I know Nano isn't about writing quality but I would like to go in with at least the beginnings of an idea for a story, or even a main character. Perhaps I failed so badly last year purely because I went in with such a solid plan.
So has anyone else started scheming?
